Snatch Masterclass with Coach Ebony Clay

We’re excited to announce our next Olympic weightlifting event at Unity 4 Performance: a Snatch Masterclass with Coach Ebony Clay, taking place on Friday 8th November at our Oswestry facility.

The snatch is one of the most technical – and rewarding – lifts in weightlifting. It demands strength, speed, coordination, and precision. Whether you’re chasing your first successful snatch or looking to refine your technique for heavier lifts, this two-hour masterclass is designed to help you unlock progress.

Why join the masterclass?

Coach Ebony brings both academic knowledge and coaching experience to the platform. She’s a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 2 British Weightlifting Coach, Biomedical Science graduate, and is currently studying a Masters in Sports & Exercise Science alongside a Diploma in Weightlifting. This combination of science and hands-on lifting makes her the perfect guide to break the lift down step by step.

During the session, you’ll cover:

• Mobility drills for better positioning

• Set-up and pull mechanics

• Bar path and speed under the bar

• Overhead stability and strength

• Practice reps with personalised feedback

Who’s it for?

This masterclass is open to all levels – from beginners who want a solid foundation, to experienced lifters aiming to polish technique and push past plateaus.
